Milwaukee Alderman: Mayor Barrett Has No Solutions to Crime

On Tuesday, Milwaukee Alderman Joe Davis, Sr., penned a scathing letter shredding Mayor Tom Barrett for failed leadership and having no solutions for a city that is “out of control.”

Unfortunately, some areas of the Milwaukee are out of control and there is no substance for a solution from the Mayor….My constituents have borne the brunt of the negative statistics that surround the declining quality of life in Milwaukee. Black on black crime seems to be ignored, and I truly think that we are becoming desensitized by the rampant escalation of recent incidents, which causes us to lose focus on the real culprit–a true lack of leadership by our CEO!

Milwaukee’s violent crime rate is more than double the national average.
