While the high crime waves that ravage America’s urban cities are often blamed on hot summer weather, just this past November, with freezing temperatures, there were 35 people shot and killed in Chicago, with a total of 38 homicides in total.

HeyJackass.com reports there were 160 total shootings for the month and 155 total homicides since Michael Brown was shot and killed in Ferguson, MO on August 9, 2014.

According to the Chicago Police Crime Data Portal, Criminal Sexual Assaults are up 1% for the year and Aggravated Batteries are up 2%.
