At one time the name Chuck Panici meant something in many places, namely in the south suburbs of Chicago. He was mayor of the City of Chicago Heights from 1975-1991. During that time, he welcomed President Ronald Reagan, Vice-President George Bush, Illinois Governor Jim Thompson, and many other lesser known politicians.

Then, in 1993, it all came crashing down when he was convicted of numerous corruption related charges in the Dirksen Federal Building. He spent much of the next decade in prison. To most people, Chuck Panici looks like the typical corrupt politician, but looks can be deceiving.

The full story of that remarkable trial has never been told, until now.

Prosecutors Gone Wild: The Inside Story of the Trial of Chuck Panici, John Gliottoni, and Louise Marshall is the story of that trial. The truth is far from what has been reported, and it’s about time the truth is told.

What follows is a free copy of Chapter 1 of Prosecutors Gone Wild: The Inside Story of the Trial of Chuck Panici, John Gliottoni, and Louise Marshall.

Hello, I am looking for a book version for this. I would like to give it to someone for a Valentine’s Day gift. But they do not have access to a personal computer or a Kindle. Where could I find a copy of the book? Thank you.
