A recent study done by two researchers from Princeton, the United States has transformed from a Democracy into a form of government called an Oligarchy. According to TPM, the researchers determined that the rich and big business control the direction of the country.

Using data drawn from over 1,800 different policy initiatives from 1981 to 2002, the two conclude that rich, well-connected individuals on the political scene now steer the direction of the country, regardless of or even against the will of the majority of voters.

“The central point that emerges from our research is that economic elites and organized groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on U.S. government policy,” they write, “while mass-based interest groups and average citizens have little or no independent influence.”

The researchers determined that the data holds for both Democrats and Republicans.

Ed. Note: While the U.S. seems to have devolved into an oligarchical collectivist type system, a brief read of the nations founding documents proves that the country was never intended to be a democracy to begin with. Rather than having a system of democracy where majority rules and two wolves and a lamb vote on what to have for lunch, the founders created a representative representative republic to ensure the rights of the minority (the lamb) are protected.

A representative republic can protect a single wolf, if the wolf and two lambs were voting on whose teeth to cut out.

John Adams: Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.

Thomas Jefferson: A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where 51% of the people may take away the rights of the other 49%.

James Madison: Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their death.

Perhaps our oligarchy is a little more “democratic” that Princeton Researchers suggest.

The Founding Fathers opposed democracy because they studied the problem. The ancient philosopher Plato wrote against democracy more than 2000 years ago in his book “The Republic.” He argued that democracy always devolves into a tyranny, that is, a dictatorship. Vlad Lenin, the famous Russian community organizer, provided the definite definition of dictatorship as a rule unfettered by any law, moral or otherwise, the kind of law promoted by Barak Obama and the Democrat Party.

Barack and the Democrats are the very thing the FOUNDING FATHERS warned about. We’re witnessing the take over of our nation from within as we speak. The bigger problem is that the Republicans are supposed to be the opposition to Barack and the Democrats but THEY’RE NOT! The Republican Establishment are in lock step RULING our lives just like Barack and the Democrats instead of listening to WE THE PEOPLE, ALL AMERICANS NEED TO BE CONCERNED WITH WHERE WE ARE HEADED AS A NATION. We must quit being distracted with all this RACE waring and focus on what our government is doing while we bicker. WE MUST BE A ONE AMERICA QUIT LOOKING THROUGH THE PRISM OF RACE AND THEN WE’LL MOVE FORWARD NOT TILL THEN. WAKE UP MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS, WAKE UP AMERICA !

Are we really supposed to be unified, a “one America.” How is that different from being a lock=step Republican? The genius of America resides in the idea that we do not have to be united in some great cause like WWII or WWIII. The genius resides in our right to live in our own way and with those whom we like and trust, even if they are people very much like ourselves. As an historical truth, Americans have drawn their unity not from ideology but from the moral order, which springs from the life of Jesus and his disciples. It most certainly does not spring from the hate-mongering of Democrats and their ideology of envy and revenge. The moral order has facilitated the ability of persons of different races and nationalities to live with one another and to cooperate with one another on whatever projects they have agreed upon. What has stoked the fires of rebellion and animosity is the comprehensive attack on the moral order and the Christian institutions which have given it support, an attack which comes from the unholy alliance of fascists, socialists and commies in the Democrat Party.
