Occupy Plans for War in Wisconsin Wednesday Meg Bennett June 5, 2012 Rebel Pundit 1 Comment No matter what happens today in Wisconsin, Occupy sees it as just the beginning for its operations in Wisconsin. They are planning protest actions in “every occupied” city in Wisconsin: With a Keep it in the Streets (located on the State Calendar and on FaceBook).Rally planned in every occupied city in Wisconsin for June 6th Milwaukee will hold a large contingent of the 99% from across the state and local organizations the 99% is planning on how to keep reclaiming Wisconsin and moving forward with important needs from our New Governor. THESE ARE THE WISCONSIN’S PEOPLES DEMANDS IN THE NEW GOVERNOR. 1. Repeal Act 10 – Hands off unions and collective bargaining. No cuts to education or Badger Care. 2. Restore the Equal Pay Act – We demand and end to workplace discrimination. 3. Tax the 1% – Hold the banksters and the 1% accountable for their economic crisis, and stop the cuts to working and oppressed people. Wisconsin shows the world how it is truly about the people and for the people in Wisconsin not the 1% we will continue to keep pressure on our elected officials andspecial interest groups to keep the corruption out of Wisconsin. Expect US we are the 99% ! Sponsors (in progress) – Occupy Wisconsin, Occupy Milwaukee, Madison, Fond du Lac, Green Bay, Oshkosh, Appleton and St. Croix Falls,wibailoutthepeople.org, 9 to 5, Amalgamated Transit Union Local 998, Welfare Warriors, Casa Maria, Iraq Veterans Against the War, AFSCME 82, Milwaukee Students for a Democratic Society, Peace Action WI, Milwaukeeans for a Better Tomorrow Tomorrow, Act Everywhere, Occupy Riverwest, Occupy the Suburbs… Last night, Occupy held a rally in the capitol in Madison: Tonight in Madison the 99% celebrated over a year of solidarity. They made a human chain around the Capitol holding hands all in synchronization chanting “OHM”. Theevening started early with a Solidarity Sing-A-Long and a final stand against Walker . This goes to show that “what it’s about” is not “what it’s about.” The recall election is a referendum on the direction of our country. Occupy won’t be content with recall, they want to overtake the entire system that has made America the freest nation on earth.
