Another great reminder of the wonderful life you can have if you live in the bluest of blue states! Illinois unemployment is up to 10.1 percent! It’s a good thing Governor Pat Quinn and the rest of our elected officials are doing such a great job or it could be as high 48.6 percent or 53.1 percent or something….

Illinois’ unemployment rate went up slightly in October even as the state added 30,000 more jobs. 

Officials said Friday that the unemployment rate in Illinois is 10.1 percent, above the national rate of 9 percent. Though the state added jobs in several industries, state unemployment went up because more job-seekers are re-entering the workforce.
