The spiritual figure head of Buddhism across the world, the Dalai Lama, shared a photo on his Facebook page of President George W. Bush presenting “his holiness” with an 80th birthday cake at George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas, Texas, USA on July 1, 2015.

The birthday cake was a nice gesture by the former president and his wife Laura, but is it a bit odd for a former president of the United States, and so called leader of the “free world,” one who is still lauded by conservatives as a “real president,” to honor a self-proclaimed marxist for his birthday?

Granted, the Dalai Lama is all about peace and love and not killing insects and stuff, and he is not a foreign communist dictator, either. But, he does have 535 million Buddhist followers world wide, 7-8% of the world’s total population and he is out preaching marxism?

Houston, we might have a problem….

From a Newsweek story in January 2015:

The Dalai Lama identified himself as a Marxist on Tuesday while addressing capitalism, discrimination and violence at a lecture on world peace in Kolkata, India. This is not the first time that the 14th Dalai Lama has spoken about his political leaning – in 2011 he said: “I consider myself a Marxist…but not a Leninist”  when speaking at a conference in Minneapolis.

“We must have a human approach. As far as socioeconomic theory, I am Marxist,”  he said to the audience on Tuesday, at the lecture entitled ‘A Human Approach to World Peace’ which was organized by Presidency University.

The Tibetan spiritual leader partly blamed capitalism for inequality and said he regarded Marxism as the answer: “In capitalist countries, there is an increasing gap between the rich and the poor. In Marxism, there is emphasis on equal distribution,” he said, adding that “many Marxist leaders are now capitalists in their thinking”.

Nominal Christian is a term that refers to Christians in name only. Jesus, Himself, indicated that there would be those that would claim to be Christian but wouldn’t be in actuality.
Matt 7: 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Here we have a mass murderer meeting a Mass murderer. Both are committed to a One World Order in which mankind is treated as mere cattle. And W knows something about cattle. He had many in the Animal Farm working in his administration. Led by the Pig Cheney, those purveyors of Armageddon rampaged through Southwest Asia on a killing spree that was meant to impose an Oligarchical brand of Democracy, whether they liked it or not. While that was going on, Dolly the Llama was ordering ethnic cleansing in Tibet. His Highness pushes the One World concept of man which dictates that the masses are to be periodically culled and ruled by despotic rulers such as himself and the Red Queen of Windsor. China, in defense of it’s sovereignty, has banned him. The people of the United States would be wise to pressure the release of the 28 pages of the 911 report still withheld from them by Bush and then Obama. If and when it happens, the indictment of W and Cheney would not be too far behind. Let the courts decide whether to send them to the Big Farm.

Excellent response Rob. I am so thankful that I came from the “old” Biblical teachings. One of the first things we learned was the conflicts all other religions and cults have with Christianity. But just until several years ago did I learn about the political side of these cults and religions. Most have global domination as their agenda and deception under the pretense of peace and tolerance. Including guru Dalai Lama; know thy enemies well. Many negligent Christians fall under the spell of these groups; sounds like Satan in the garden of Eden.

He surely was not perfect nor a conservative, but I never questioned his love and respect for ALL Americans even when the haters said despicable things about him.

It could be something bad. This is good and what a christian should do. Giving an 80 yr old a cake on his birthday. Even if they were enemies or have a different creed. Even Jesus said feed you enemies. Why are we judging some for doing something nice ? That says more about the judgemental than the principal .
