Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed terminated Fire Chief Kelvin Cochrane last week because Cochrane does not support homosexuality.

Cochrane was previously suspended for one month after writing the book Who Told You That You Were Naked?, and giving copies to co-workers.

Cochrane says that sex outside of marriage is sinful, including homosexuality, which he referenced on half a page in the book.

The American Family Association reports:

Chief Cochran faced the wrath of homosexual activists and Atlanta mayor Kasim Reed and was  publicly chastised and summarily fired from his position.

According to OneNewsNow and other news sources, the mayor was praised by openly homosexual councilman Alex Wan for terminating Chief Cochran.

“When you’re a city employee, and [your] thoughts, beliefs and opinions are different from the city’s, you have to check them at the door.” – Councilman Alex Wan

“I want to be clear that the material in Chief Cochran’s book is not representative of my personal beliefs…” – Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed.

For anyone else who wants to let Reed know how they feel about the decision to fire Kelvin Cochrane over his Christian beliefs, here are his Facebook and Twitter pages.

After Obama…..nothing surprises me anymore. White neo liberals coopted mentally enslaved plantation negroes to promote, support and normalize their agenda. This is a long time coming. Listening to the former black lesbian editor of Venus magazine…now a Christian….articulated the acts of white neo liberals/ homosexual males/ lesbians hidden intent, which is now part if main stream. Black so called pastors, selling their collective souls for Obama, foregoing their long held Christian beliefs. Today modern family TV show is shuttle, yet striking blow by liberals and rink Republicans to redifine marriage, life, etc.

We live in a Constitutional Republic which protects the rights of the minority from the majority. In other words, in our nation, the majority does NOT have the right to discriminate against the minority, plain and simple. End of story.

Check your history on the translation you are quoting that was added to the bible by a man. If you look at the original scripture he translated you will see that thoes words are not there. Google it….

We can all justify the wording anyway we need to, I am not in place to judge, like I said we were all born out of sin int sin, therefore the only one a person has to answer to for his actions is GOD, me I have sins to answer for I don’t have a problem with that, but to impose another will on someone else I see the problem in that, and that is people need the general publics approval for their sins, I on the other hand do not, that’s all I’m saying

So the idea here is, agree with us or be fired? Since when are personal opinions something to be forced on another? I’m tired of the gay agenda. I tolerate, I don’t accept. I cannot be forced to accept something I do not agree with. I respect that it is your choice, but NEVER ask me to support it.

What’s wrong with having traditional beliefs? Why is this demonized? This Alex Wan is a disgrace to those who seek to build bridges between the gay/lesbian community and heterosexual people. He has essentially told them that their opinions mean nothing, and they better support gay or else. Wan should resign and apologize, and fir chief re-instated. How dare anyone force their agenda on another, and then punish them by taking their job.

So much for free thought, eh? Only free to think if you agree with someone else. Disgusting.

Tell me if I am wrong ,isn’t this a violation of civil rights ? It violates Religion and Creed. Or don’t they matter anymore since the non-real civil rights of GAY is superior now over the other ones. When they stated Gay was a civil rights catagory I knew it would be in conflict with Religion and Creed. I don’t recognize Gay marriage either. So they can sue me !
