Video: “The Tea Party Stole Don’t Tread on Me” at #OccupyChicago

Last Sunday in Chicago we found a man wearing a “Don’t Tread on Me” hat. We asked him some questions about it, and the meaning behind the protest.

His wife (we presume) claimed the Tea Party “stole it” (the Gadsden Flag) and he went on to comment on the Tea Party being “misguided” and “dividing the country.”

This happens to be the same march accompanied by the Communist Party U.S.A., in which we interviewed communist members marching, and included an address to the Occupy General Assembly by John Bachtell, a member of C.P.U.S.A.’s national board.
