At 333 miles and the entire length of Lake Michigan, with over 300 sail boats competing; it is the world’s largest fresh water sporting event. Rebel Pundit needs a break from the news and will be making a 6th trip to the island with a handful of other patriots on board Free Agent, a Schock 35. The weather is looking light to moderate, with some thunderstorms in forecast; and will most likely be a spinnaker run to the island. Weather updates are available here: NOAA. All competitors are equipped with a GPS transponder, so please track our progress and follow us up the lake. You can find the tracking site here: Section 5, Free Agent. In addition to race tracking, we will be sending on board updates via Twitter; follow @RebelPundit and hashtag #FreeAgentS35. The race committee can be followed on Twitter at @RaceToMackinac. Thanks for watching, we hope to be back next week. One Response JustJP July 23, 2011 Kick some butt RP!
